If the people who post here buy 5000 tickets for each drawing of PB and MM that's 20,000 chances to win each week. Over 10 years it would be 10,440,000 chances. If the odds remain at 1 in 292 and 1 in 303 million there's still less than a 4% chance that somebody here will win. I got news for you, you can get 5 figure service and amenities anywhere in the world. $13,000 is on the low end of luxury hotel resorts. Because not all beaches are created equal. The really good, really private beaches require travel. U.S. mainland beaches suck. The few semi-decent beaches are way too populated. A white sand beach should actually be white. Not tan or ecru. White. So dazzlingly white that the sun's reflection at midday is blinding. 30k per month for 60 years is only good enough if inflation doesn't get too high and you don't live more than 60 years. If you had that much money and started by spending 30k each month you'd probably be comfortable the last few years, but you'd be far from rich.

Wittkowski didnt change too much. Though $40 mil had a lot more buying power than it does today, he didnt get $40 mil. He split it with 3 other family members. Additionally, the amount doesnt reflect the federal and state taxes withheld. They took the annuity. The money did make life a lot easier for his family. It appears he's a refreshingly down to earth guy.

Considering that the bullet points are the ONLY advice he gives, the book doesn't need to be 28 pages. It doesn't even need to be 8 pages. As far as I can tell, a one page handout would have done the trick. The pages for acknowledgements, TOC, foreword, etc are worthless fillers.

His $40 book (of a whopping 28 pages) is his real income. The last time CNN Money had him on, they removed his video from their website and issued an apology.

Point Taken Coin Toss, but when was the first or last time you read, of the winner of either MM or PB saying in print or in public l got my QP numbers off LP or off the prediction board posted by fellow LP members? The press follow up question may be What is lottery post?

You should have read the 2nd post that points out that the first poster doesn't know what a square foot is. Here's the correct math.

2.61 x 6.14 x .0043 = .06890922 cubic inches. $1 million is 10,000 $100 bills, so .06890922 x 10,000 = 689.0922 cubic inches. There are 1728 cubic inches in a cubic foot, so 689.0922/1788 = 0.398 CF for $1 million in $100 bills. That's about the same volume as 3 gallons.

Never mind the weight, it's the volume I'd be worried about!

Even Skyler White didn't know how much Walt had made. She said she had tried to weigh it, but it was in mixed denominations. The show's propmasters calculated that it was close to 80 million, but some on the 'net disputed that.
