Well there you go! The PowerBall was a Top 10 record jackpot and we got one $50,000 third prize hit somewhere in Michigan.

The faster Michigan can pull out of the MultiStates the better.

You entirely missed the point. I don't play those games but nobody is winning them and they are sucking money away from what could be great games if players would notice what is going on and stop playing the games that take a long time, if ever, to win.

I have been playing in four going on five decades and have noticed that the lotteries are using a divide and conquer strategy so they get more money while having to pay out less.

Like most state lotteries, Michigan provides lots of choices so it's not like the super jackpot games are the only games in town.

Speaking of games with no winners I believe Michigan should get rid of Daily Keno and Poker Lotto.

But again just because you don't like a game, nobody is forcing you to play it.

BTW, I discarded my vote to see how many people voted.

Yes, however, it could be 10 years or more with the obscene new odds before someone in even big ticket buying states wins a jackpot. How much money from their state will they keep sending out in jackpot dollars before they notice the drain?

States with PB and MM keep 35% of ticket sales for themselves and to pay local none jackpot winners. I suspect Michigan will think as Ohio finally concluded that 35% of something is a lot better than 100% of nothing, besides those games attract players for their local games.

A certain amount of (stupid) people would drive down there to get their tickets but with nobody winning and fewer jackpot wins Michigan would be better off in the long run because less money would be getting sent out of state.

Before Ohio added PB and MM to its list of games I remember traveling up RT23 to the first truck stop north of the boarder and seeing hundreds of Ohio tagged cars and double lines of people buying lottery tickets when ever their jackpots exceeded $100M. Given that the Odds on MegaMillions are about to skyrocket I believe Michigan should go it alone and pull out of the Multistate games.

With all the money being sent out of state for the Jackpots we could have some decent Michigan games with good sized jackpots and more frequent wins here.

Since the Powerball Matrix has change there have been no Jackpot wins in Michigan. Ponder that, two years and no Jackpot win here.
