Yes!!!! Great post eddessa. It's 100% easier to manipulate software-driven lottery draws than mechanical ball-driven draws. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, every case of draw-based lottery fraud has been RNG in nature...maybe I'm wrong. When we talk about software, we're also talking about the very high possibility of a hack because it's all program-based, and, the only thing needing done is an a different set of codes to produce the desired result(s). Here in Md the only drawings they don't televise are the Sunday midday, as you said usually because of some sporting event. They don't want gambling to be associated with sports. Like nobody bets on the football games...

At gaming ground zero Las Vegas, RNG has been shown to have a different distribution of numbers VS live mechanical ping pong balls - also the RNG chip can be altered program open to manipulation - insider info shared with me by associate IGT techie.

PA Lottery seeks out draw witnesses for its evening drawings, but doesn't televise the drawings itself. But instead relies on outside parties to do so. In many PA media markets, televised lottery drawings do not regularly occur due to preempting by other programming, such as sports, specials, etc.

If the PA Lottery was truly serious about evening drawings, they'd stream them live on their website.

Here's what goes on at the Pa. lottery.

1) They do all the pre-tests to make sure the machines and balls haven't been tampered with. Fine, but with all the security procedures, how is anyone going to do be able to tamper with anything? It would have to be a group effort just to get into the room.

2) They do 9 pre-tests, 3 rehearsal tests and 3 post tests to make sure every thing is completely random. And to make sure the balls come up according to their statistical norms. If the balls do n... [ More ]

Click on the link below. I posted this a year ago. Texas is the only state that I'm aware of that posts their pre test results, and yes, I've seen them on their website. I don't know why they publish the pre tests, but I'm glad they do, all states should.

I live in Cali now, an RNG state, and I believe they do computer pre tests here.

Amber, I see that Texas does pre test and publish the data. I assume that that data is published with or shortly after the actual Draw. Texas is a Ball Game. I learned a minute ago on the Post on Pre tests in the Mathematics Forum how that Monkeys with Random. I agree that it screws things up. It's like they jump into the future at every draw by 5 Draws. I don't care If a monkey pulls the balls out of a hat, or the monkey clicks on a computer button, as long as I know what the last pre test results were. The final pre test result is the ONLY one that counts to me.

Amber, have you actually seen pre test-results? If, so, When do they do this pre test and Is that information available before the actual Draw? Why in the World would the Lottery publish pre test results any way. Are they trying to give us some assurance that the Actual Draw is Rand... [ More ]

Mechanical balls- every single day of the week, why? Because l seriously doubt that Eddie Tipton is unique out there. Someone taught him how to do stuff, if he advanced his tech skills on his own, there has to be others who could do what he did. It's much too much of a risk.

I should have said that Blanks are assumed to be Ball Games. I did not see a complete list of games on the Report Card. Maybe I Missed it. Are You saying the assumption is correct
