After posting the above BLAH BLAH, I was thinking that it might be a good moment for a dose of my own medicine, so I put the Monday (07/03) numbers in the deflating tool. Then I saved it. Then I added numbers from another workup. Then i FORGOT to save it. Then I ran the deflating program. Do you get it? I forgot to save the whole thing, so when I ran the deflating tool, it worked on the last saved version of the file, which was just the Date Numbers. And here is the result.

That's one way to look at it and definitely I've heard others do that. The way I use it is to remember that, in Virginia, straight hits on the Date Workup tend to run in bunches. I tend to pay close attention to this workup in the days following a straight hit. Also, my quick and dirty way to size up any other workup is to throw those numbers in the deflating tool with the Date Workup and see what's what.
