Now it makes sense, the first ticket was print out on 12.15 pm, it was a straight hit for the day for Oct 18 .

Then the computer took a pause to think for few seconds, which one would be the winner for the midday.

so the computer generated 772 instead of 771 and switched 554 for the eve drawings. Because both tickets were purchased for midday drawings only.

Today when I stopped to play my numbers early this morning, the machine would not accept my play slip. The clerk verified it was filled out right and tried again. No luck. So I said lets do it manually. When he tried entering the first number, the machine said. This draw is closed. Evening only. The clerk even showed me a printout of it saying, This draw closed.

I've never seen this before. The clerk didn't know why it was doing it. Did anyone else have this happen this morning

I am trying to use that to my advantage, trying to play repeats in most plays.

Seems like there is not much more than 6 plays in a row without a repeat, so have been waiting for 5-7 plays before hitting repeats hard.
