Although, you are correct about a difference in cash values.

Ending Hot Lotto taxes paid cash value $12,160,000

Beginning Lotto America cash value $9,500,000

Difference -$2,660,000

That's not correct.

From my state MN:

Hot Lotto ended on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017. As with all lotto games, winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.

Why, when the Hot Lotto ended at just over 19 million and the amount of the new Lotto America started at 15 million. What happened to the other just over 4 million dollars?

Not only that, the Hot Lotto was pre taxed and the Lotto America is not pre taxed, the taxes have to be paid out of the jackpot. So tax wise what happened to the just over 6 million of the tax dollars from the Hot Lotto on the 19 million ?

Anyone have an answer to these questions
