Mega Millions hit $451 million when someone won a jackpot on Friday January 5th in 2018. Powerball hit $559.7 million when someone won a jackpot on Saturday January 6th in 2018. Mega Millions highest point was $656 million when it was shared by three winning tickets. Right now Mega Millions is at $243 million dollars because it rolled while Powerball is at $293 million right now

I second this. I hate the new matrixes which were only put in place to make it harder to win. I'd rather reasonable (but very difficult) odds at $20M instead of near impossible odds at $200M.

But given the money people spend on the game, I am in the minority.
