An old man was shambling and hobbling outside. He was as if in pain and great distress.

I was looking for a woman outside of a big house at night, so the old man didn't bother me at all despite the crying and the wailing, so I found who I was looking for near the driveway.

A car with a few youngsters up to no good was passing by so I told the woman we'd better head inside before we're caught up in it.
