I have been playing the dates too for mega millions starting with the tenth and now the thirteenth. There is only the 17th, 20th and 24th left for mega balls this month so maybe one will hit it. I will try my $3 on all four of them.-weshar75

It won't hit a billion dollars. The winning ticket will happen way before Labor day. if infact it goes to Labor day which is insane then good for whomever wins it.

My brothers bday is 8-3, my cousin is 8-5, my uncle is 8-29. I think this Fri or next friday. Lucky number 13 I am watching.

Past couple of weeks, there have been news articles about the rich and loaded suing their financial managers. Not sure who will win/lose in these cases but they are interesting. Not sure what is customary in the world of big bucks money managing but the fees seem rather excessive. First, there is Lisa Presley who blew thru her $100 million inheritance. I went back to look at the draws this year to see how many it took for Richard Wahl (NJ) to win back on March 30th. It took a grand total of 24 to reach the $533 Million mark. We are now at #17 on this run($256 Million).. Draw 17 of his run was at $265 Million. My estimate of it getting to a Billion in that time frame isn't accurate using his win as an indicator. From his 17th draw, it was going up about $30 Million +/- through draw 23 at $458 Million.That last draw was the big jump of $75 Milli... [ More ]

Mega Millions rolls over so slowly to get to the billion dollar annuity mark it would take quite a few rollovers. That's why I asked about Labor Day. Historically for this game July is a hot month for wins. Let's see how it plays out. Hopefully we get an official LP winner across one of these games at the next win. One who is willing to send a shout out to the community in a pre-written statement without the need for a press conference.

Labor day is too far IMHO....I am leaning towards the last 14 days of July (17-31 range). 5 draws from now, should be in the upper hundreds of millions, maybe even reach that elusive Billion mark.... To me, it seems when the PB reaches that 100 -150 million point, the attention spotlight drifts towards that particular game.... But,I could be wrong ..................................Again.......................................

It's growing! However Mega Millions has a weak spot at the $400-$499 million range. It rarely goes higher than that so a few more draws.
