Just out of curiosity I deflated the 60 number using Todd's pick 3 deflating tool and it reduced down to 28 combinations,

Tier 4

117(171,117,171) 591(519,519,591) 331(313,331,313) 797(779,797,779) 537(573,573,537) 939(993,939,993)

Tier 2

377(377) 484(448) 975(975) 028(082) 715(715) 733(733) 199(199) 868(886) 395(395) 046(064) 911(911) 626(662) 135(135) 242(224)

Tier 1

840 466 680 822 260 644 420 288

so 28 combos look a whole lot better than 60.

A quicker way of doing it is stacking the two pick 3 numbers on top of each other and add the two pick 3 numbers together using lottery math (no carry overs). Then add the second pick 3 to the 3rd set to get the 4th set.

840

+377 equals

117

377

+117 equals

484

and so on and so on.

But question, have you ever figured any way to focus on any one number for instance in the group?

I offer it as a mathematical curiosity, or more artistic way of generating random-ish picks. Any correct matches it happens to generate would be purely by chance. It shouldn't make any difference what numbers you focus on in the sequence, assuming your state's pick 3 game is random and unbiased.

I used to attempt stuff like this with a system of mine. The system would generate 3 numbers total, and then I would just do this with the last two, and so on and so on. Also with the drawn numbers I m sure I tried (for entertainment purposes only). I m not saying you don t see something, because at times yes I m sure you do. However, anomalies do occur as numbers get greater. But question, have you ever figured any way to focus on any one number for instance in the group? Just curious if you ca... [ More ]

Disclaimer: For entertainment purposes only!

I wrote a little utility that generates sequences of pick 3 numbers starting from two seed values, adding the digits mod-10 . For instance, today's California pick 3 results were 840 (midday) and 377 (evening). Take these as the two seed values. To get the next number, take 8+3 = 1, 4+7 = 1, and 0+7 = 7 to get 117. For the next number, take 3+1 = 4, 7+1 = 8, and 7+7 = 4 to get 484. And so on and so on always adding the previous two numbers, like th... [ More ]
