These were the happy days. The 50s

Really great stuff. I lived in seven of the decades of the 20th century and the 50 s were the absolute greatest. Nothing in the 21st century has come close.

It wasn't perfect but I would gladly trade all the technology of today, except medical advances, for a return to the late 50 s and the conditions of convivial political protagonists, seemingly honest politicians, overall conservative mind set,... [ More ]
