A pretty good list IMHO. While reality insists we will most likely never have the need for a list like this, there's nothing wrong w/ being prepared.

So I am probably more paranoid than others. I figured if I won a large jackpot, I would be so shaken up that I couldn't think or sleep hence the Xanax and trying to be organized and secure ahead would help if I ever won a lot of money. And I couldn't find that kind of list. What I came up with just things I thought of.

It would take awhile to set up the advisers and trusts so I would still live in my house so I thought I would need security to keep things safe and ease anxiety. Plus sin... [ More ]

Zephbe, I think the person is being overly cautious to ensure that process is documented for integrity purposes up through the collection time. I would have to cross off the sleeping pills, eventually exhaustion would settle in and the adrenaline factor would subside. I might go with a video camera to record the interactions with the team of professionals. The boarding for animals option is a unique one.

Interesting list, I never gave it much thought before. If I did, I might get some of those diversion safes that look like cans of WD-40 or Coke but have secret compartments inside.

Not sure about starting a Xanax habit, though. I thought blow was the lottery winner drug of choice.

I was thinking of random things you would need if won a jackpot lottery to help you claim the ticket. I am not talking about what kind of advisors you need but other stuff like security and office stuff. Here is a list i thought of. Any ideas

Printer/paper/ink- printer that prints pictures
