I knew someone who said to me when she first started getting those scratchers she would scratch it look at it and just throw it out. Whether it had anything or not. She looked at it like it was garbage no matter what. No I do not think you have anything to find out. And I do not think anyone would spend as much time as you re asking for in order to find a definitive answer no doubt. No I do not think anyone would. Finders keepers indeed.

Thx gy65. I am not a scratcher enthusiast stay away from them, but if l was, it would be important knowing whether the top prizes were all won, and what was left.

I dont even do drugs so, no that was not factor at all. Never even fathom of doing cannabis of any sort

But i understand the importance of the finders keepers situation in this case, I cant really do much on this.

There was a post by an LPer talking about finding tickets in the trash, scaning the bar code and cashing in winning tickets that people didn't realize were winners.

Do you search out and check discarded lottery tickets?

He cleared a little over $3,000 .

In your case, it wasn't discarded, but lost.

There were six pages of discussion about an Arkansas woman loses bid for $1M lottery ticket picked from trash and the LP consensus was the judge got it wrong.

Jones attorney Jimmy Simpson said a settlement was reached Friday. Simpson told The Daily Citizen the terms of the settlement were confidential and sealed but Jones was pleased with the outcome.

It's not always as simple as that. I can't post a link, but Google arkansas scratch off sharon duncan sharon jones for an example of a case where a judge did not agree with finders-keepers-losers-weepers. The first decision was overturned on appeal, and then before the parties went to court for a third time, they came to their senses and settled out of court.

A few weeks ago I went to a lotto vending machine inside a busy gas station on the boarder it was a Saturday so the store was packed with us folks from utah playing. Someone had left a $10 scratcher inside the machine, I scratched it and it was a loser.. your ticket was probably a loser . May be prudent to taper off some of that California cannabis, if that was a factor

Howdy everyone, im a first time user! i been snooping this site and finnaly made a account.

So yeah, as the title reads , i dropped my dang scratcher. :( it really does hurt!!

When this happens, i know if its a prize over 599 they have to report to the lottery office.

But if its under 599 they can just go to a store clerk

The 599 and under part I don't care to much for. Good for them if they get it. But its the 599 and over part that makes me concerned. Not... [ More ]
