Hi-tech lottery vending machines- what's your take?

The machines in Maryland Delaware seem to be the same except for each only playing their states games. I will have to look closer to see who makes them. I find them to be very good, they are quite easy to use but a bit slow in the 'process' of cashing winning tickets

I enjoy using the vending machines. I don't feel they are more or less lucky than a clerk. The odds are still the same. However the machines aren't that reliable. They seem to malfunction rather easily.

My good ol' Meijer (a Michigan-made Walmart with more focus on grocery) recently installed a hi-tech touchscreen lottery vending machine. When I bought my Mega Millions ticket, it got one number right (70) out of the entire MM number.

However it was HORRIBLE at $1 scratch-offs!

Very lucky and reliable, or does man (with help from the register) triumph over vending machine
