Many on this site don't advise spending quite so much money on any lottery drawing...especially if you haven't an analysis of its Stats..

Study and analysis will help you make better choices as to which ,if any, numbers should be left out of your tickets..

In MY opinion, that can't be wisely done without understanding Probability Math..!

Here's some stats for you leading into Saturdays powerball (12-28-19) draw. 25 different numbers have hit over the last 5 drawings (17 even, 8 odd). That has occurred 11 times since October, 2015. 30 different numbers for six draws has only occurred 2 times. If you want to go for it. This is what you do.

On the other hand, nearly 100% of people who pay the extra $1 still don't win the second place prize so they waste a dollar for nothing. If I'm planning to spend X amount on tickets I spend it all on base plays rather than multipliers.

Yes, 26 plays costs more than 13 plays because 26 is a larger number than 13. Whodda thunk it. I really don't know what you're getting at, but best of luck to you in any case.

A 60 to 100 dollar budget is not going to give you much of a advantage regardless of what/how

you play. If your budget allows, play all the bonus numbers at least once, 26*2=$52.00 or 26*3

= $78.00. If your good at predicting numbers, select the 5 white balls using your best choices. I

knew a person who use to play each bonus number 10 times and let the machine pick the white

balls. It never worked out for him but who knows, you might be the next PB winner, chance works

Not a bad strategy, actually, with spending the coin to cover something that 'has to happen' so to speak. You could also chose to cover only the Odd or Even Red Balls (13) with your combos which further reduces stress. One thing about any of these games is that they cannot draw 'everything' so, it's up to us to decide on which way we think it'll go. What about Powerplay at $3 a pop is it worth it?

Speculating ALL previous $1 million 5+0 winners regret not paying that extra $1? They beat the 1 in 11,688,053 odds, and left $1 million on the table

I want to put down a sizable wager on Powerball like $60-$100.00. However I want to minimize my losses. I normally a one or two ticket per draw but havent seen any luck lately. I thought about buying 31 plays to cover all 26 Red Balls plus 5 QP Red balls. Or should I play all Even or ODD red balls to reduce my losses. What about Powerplay at $3 a pop is it worth it? Has anyone ever tried this? Tell me your experience. Thanks
