Another PA crap story. They ended Mega Millionaire. Loved that game. Place at work had 2 left on roll and paid $50-$100. Machine was on 029 and lost. Stopped another place and maybe got back 50% on what they had left. Stopped at the place next to a pizza joint. Figured all the smaller places would still have them. I got the final 9 tickets.. Wait til you hear this crap!! I buy a pack of the $20 XMas. At the halfway point it had 7 winners for $300. Figured that was 15 more tickets to get 2 winners for $60 and then hopefully a bonus win. Well I got a $200 along with the $60 and got back $560 on $600. Not bad. I decide on his other $20 Christmas ticket. It was hitting left and right. After 13 tickets it paid back 8 winners and $340. Saw a Strategic Games employee at my normal store. He told me the new tickets coming out on the 24th has a $5 ticket that also has a game on the back. I can see people missing that for sure. I also only played a few of the $5 Dublins ticket. Didn't realize it's a # match along with a prize match.I can see people missing that part(like myself). More and more ways to hope the scratcher throws away winners!!!

Thanks Matt. Things are good here. Just recently moved as well. Same area and work in the same spot. Can't believe how lucky that store is, yet I still can't find anything over $1K there.

Thanks omiller. It surprised me in a good way. After the Q bonus revealed a Win $100, I knew it was at least $150. My $70 winner had a 7x with $10. The third one I got lost, and I have not bought another one yet. Congrats on your wins. Definitely good to cut back. What is next on the $20 tickets - 1 in 4 odds? Hope you have been good. I will be moving soon but it will likely be in the same general area.

Nice win. That would be a cool symbol to uncover. I did find the Winprz symbol for $70 on the 5 or 6 I played the other day. I found a $500 Win All on that new $20 ticket, but thats about it. Been trying to now stick to one or two and done. No more bulk purchases to maybe get 25% back..

Hi all. I did get the good one below recently ($300), and won $70 on it the same day, but that has been my only luck. It did help me out for the month. I would cut back anyway due to decreasing PA odds, but I can often only afford the lower priced tickets. If they win enough, I try higher.

Florida group just posted a new $30 ticket coming out. 155 top prizes of 1Mil. I am sure alot of lower end duds, but 155 top prizes is kinda nice. I'd def focus on only that ticket if PA had something similiar.

I been thinking the same. I look at Fanduel for fun, as I haven't sports bet in 20 years. Keep thinking my money will def last longer(3 hrs on $100) with a 50/50 chance of winning. Def better odds than the lottery. I am hoping once the casino opens in Morgantown(would be about 30min from me), that will also replace all my lottery cravings as long as payouts are good.

It's gotten so bad I'm pretty close to just dropping playing the lottery for good and starting to bet some professional sports... especially football. I'd have made a lot of nice coin in the playoffs so far this year, had I had the nuggets to put the cash on the line...

Sorry Guys. PA Lottery Scratch off tickets are dead and dead forever. I have been playing scratch off's since there was only a $1 ticket (1988). Today's tickets are absolutely horrible compared to years past. The only thing you need to do is check the odds. In the past odds for $10 tickets were one winner in 3.04 tickets. Hey GetReal.. Your results are like mine. May mix in a $500 or $400 or $200 but its sandwiched in between a ton of duds. I am holding out hope I got some good Millionaire Raffle tickets though this year. Never won on those either. I can say I probably spent about the same thing year(I don't keep actual records) and only hit $1K twice. Past few years its been anywhere from 4-6 times. I saw the old mega thread got closed... hadn't had a post in a few months. Wow, shame to see it die. Reading some of the comments from those like omiller no wonder it did.

I can honestly say the wins are far and few between for myself as well. Although I don't play nearly the amount I did a few years back, I'm probably good for at least $200 a month on average. Almost always end up at a loss for the month.
