I have often played with two reputable people who run their player pool on YouTube. I have been playing with them for over a year now on, off.

Miss Player who has a $10.00 buy in for either California SuperLotto, or sometimes Powerball, or Mega Millions.

Scratcher Heaven who has a $10.00 buy in for Powerball, or Mega Millions depending on the jackpot amount, but mostly a higher buy-in for scratcher ticket book pool playing. (Scratcher Heaven mostly does books of scratcher tickets).

I pl... [ More ]

The CA lottery website used to show case more winners and jackpot captains as they called them, and I remember some of the winning pools were groups of friends or family, but they were pretty small, no more than half a dozen people. The appeal of group play is buying tons of tickets, for which you need a big group.

I don't play in pools so I... [ More ]

My experience with co-workers is because we work together and interact daily. Usually we have more personal conversations involving things we enjoy like vacations, hobbies, to include playing/winning the lottery for complete financial freedom. If a co-worker blabs then my family wouldn't easily find out. I don't know about the pay/stress theory as that... [ More ]

Recently I read of pool of coworkers up in Canada who won a million and it got me thinking, most of the time in the stories about lottery winning pools the pools are made up of coworkers. Rarely find one about large pools of extended friend/family groups. And I don't think Ive ever read of a neighborhood based pool, like residents of an apt building for instance.

Is there something about coworkers that makes you want to join up with them to buy lottery tickets more so than other people in... [ More ]
