Sorry for the late reply. I just saw the above post on July 30th.

The 10x PowerPlay has been drawn a total of four times since MUSL started offering the PowerPlay option.

There are multiple reasons why it hasn't been drawn very often. One reason is because 10x is removed from play once the PB jackpot hits 150 million and it remains missing until somebody hits the big jackpot and the jackpot is reset to 40 million. So for jackpots of 150 million and up, there is no 10x PowerPlay number.... [ More ]

It is a very good way to look at things - wont work 100% of the time - but still I think puts you on a good track.

Especially for my favorite state game:

I think one of the best ideas I've ever seen was from BobP. I don't use it all the time, but it's simple, doesn't involve math gyrations, tracking, or any stuff like that.

If you are picking numbers to play, simply leave out the numbers that were in the last draw. It's amazing how many combinations are left off the table. In Texas our Lotto game is a 6/54. The odds for 6/6 are 1 in 25,827,165. By leaving out the numbers that were drawn last, the odds drop to 1 in 12,271,512. That's over half... [ More ]

Actually for me (our pick 5 in China) it's not rare that the winning numbers are within the 1-20 field. That being said picking the right 5 numbers is another story. For now I'm selecting only from within the 1-20 field. I will however consider playing other fields of numbers for example: 1-10 16-20 30-35 (for a total of 20 numbers from the field of 35. I would of course use a wheel to maximize the chances of a '5 of 5' or a '4 of 5' win.

If you want to hit a jackpot in Pick 5 then I would say it s better select 20 numbers from that full 1-35 and stick with it instead of just 1-20...Because all 5 coming in 1-20 is rare...I would say pick 20 numbers from all 1-35 and keep playing from that list of 20

Don't you have a smaller game field like a Pick 5? If you play 649 then I would play either 1-24 or 25-49 as my field limits. Then use a wheeling system.

I buy lottery tickets in Canada, and not good at picking numbers so, the Lotto 649 and Atlantic 49 draw is tonight, and I pick random numbers, and buy an insta pick, it is very frustrating!

For now I'm sticking with 1-20. The chances of 1-2-3-4-5,2-3-4-5-6,etc. is slim I agree. It's how you play the numbers that counts.

1st. Stick to playing only a certain field. If your game is a 35 numbers game then play 1-20 and stick with it. You can playing 10-35, 15-35,1-15, etc. but stick with it. The temptation is to veer off and pick numbers outside your selected field.

2nd. you have to use a wheel to increase your odds to 'trap' a jackpot. A '4 of 4' is doable and not as expensive t... [ More ]

I was just looking over your numbers on the Badger 5 there on their website. Since you have a 31 ball count in it.

I hit the load more games a few times to bring up back to January and went back to the top of the list.

I kept my eyes on the numbers under WIN of where it says WINNING NUMBERS . The number 2 is in that line 19 times from 1/23/2020 to yesterday.

You're definitely on the right track and you're definitely seeing and saying how they make their money.

I'd do some heavy research before cutting out so many numbers though. Unless you have already. I know with a 30 ball set, cutting down to 21 is really going to hurt your chances of a 5 of 5. About twice every 60-80 draws you can get by with that on a 30 ball set. Going to be less the more balls are in play. I've long believe that the lottery knows that when they put out a game, be it Power ball, Mega, Pick 5, etc. most people will look at it from the whole set of numbers. For example if your pick 5 lottery is 1-39, most people will look at playing from the prospective of all 39 numbers. Check past result of Pick 5 game

And see which groups it s falling high(05-09) or low(01-04) examples...Majority of time it should be 3 from high/low and 2 from high/low

High meaning 05-09,15-19 etc

Low meaning 01-04,10-14 etc

You select the groups and pick just 1 from each group and sometimes you can even pick 2 but that s sometimes depends how your game in the state is playing out

Thanks for the post.

I have never been the sharpest brick in the drawer - how would I go about applying this/use this to look at past draw info to come up with something new?

For example my state has 2 games that are pick 6 (1-39 and 1-49) and a pick 5 (that is 1-31)

Any insight is helpful - willing to give anything a shot - you create a lot of content
