Did you mention earlier that WA lotto machines will indicate what ticket # a game is on? If so how is that displayed?...either way it sure seems key to consistently achieving regular success.

I pretty much ended up leaving the packs at the grocery store offices alone. Safeway and Albertsons offices open at like 9 so I was at work. Fred Meyer was hit or miss as they kept changing times due to the virus. It was also too hard to predict when they put in new packs. Yeah man thank you and you're right the other $30 paytable in our state is impossible to beat long term unless you hit one of the 2 top prizesm Odds almost a million to 1 on a $30 ticket.

I expected everybody would be chasing the $500 , but pretty much no one realized it. Or maybe some people just don't want to chance losing $200 because yes there were 12-15 times the $500 winner was the dead last ticket and that's a $200 loss. I'm not sure if it's posted on the website but when this ticket first came out they promoted it heavily A $500 winner in every pack . That was the only thing this ticket had going for it. It was a $30 card with 10 to 1 odds and no claimer prizes. Most players thought this game was the worst ever. And for those who did not realize the math it was a horrible game. That is the snip man! When read the first post I'm like yeah bull snip you're up 50,000 with a system. Aren't we all....

Then I looked at the prize structure.... snip !!! Never have I seen a $30 game anything like it. 1 in 30 to win $500, and there's 30 tickets a roll too?

Thanks for the read. I was skeptical at first thinking you found some special symbol on the artwork of winning tickets. Even then I thought you would have to wait for all the losers and then pounce.. If PA had a pack like you described, I would be doing the same thing you would. I am close with a store owner, so I would be able to pick threw them and then stop. Question about pack recipe. Hi spencerjames, thanks for sharing and for sure if every book without fail had $700 return spread across 2 $100s and 1 $500 it would be, like you more or less described, akin to shooting fish in a barrel. I'm surprised the WA lotto ordered books like that. If such a game were in FL I doubt each book would have such a consistent win profile. Yeah I don't know what I'm going to do. Right now it's in my bank account. I'm fine with it just sitting there for now, not sure how much taxes I will owe. Won another $330 profit this morning so there are still new packs here and there but for the most part it's done. I have been told this game won't be back at least not in it's current form.

Yes it was funny with this being a $30 ticket with no big claimer prizes and 10 to 1 odds of winning also. I heard many people make comments about this being the worst game ever. Lol this game right here was the best scratcher ticket in any state, ever. It was in fact, a guaranteed winner long term playing it the right way.

Yeah the only importance of buying the first ticket was because that's the only way you can be 100% sure the $500 is still there. If even 1 ticket was gone there is a 3.3% chance the 500 is gone which means a $670 loss.

That's actually pretty crazy. A $30 ticket with no higher than $500 prize. Yeah, I always like to buy the first ticket if I see or the last. So I kind of know what youre saying. We have 1 $10 with top prize of $600, 2 $5 tickets one with $500 and one with $250, but each book doesn't have a top prize. We had a $2 one a while back with top prize of $200. So now they added $50 to the prize and now charge $5 lol. Yeah congrats good job you know. Lucky you.

But know that this will only work if the state has pack recipe - one $500 and two $100 in each pack. If it's just average if one and two that won't work. I believe Ohio does pack recipes

I have told them and no one believes it. Every gambler claims to win or I have just been getting lucky and I will soon lose it back. No one can believe there is a lottery scratcher game that can easily be beaten consistently. Which I guess I would understand their skepticism. The interesting thing here is if you eliminate the two $100 winners and only have one $500 winner per pack, chasing a full pack is still +EV about $35 so it's clearly +EV and a guaranteed long term winner with the $100 winners included. Washington is a pack recipe state. I don't know all the breakdowns but all $20 games have 1 $100, 1 $50, 4 $25, and 2 $20 winners thus guaranteeing at least $290 back per pack. I might as well post it since it's over and Cape Scratcher pretty much figured it out.

This game was 30 cards per book. Every pack had EXACTLY one $500 and two $100 winners. Every pack had that - so a book cost $900 and had $700 in winners. I was getting up very early and looking for new packs. Pretty much every place changes out new packs at the open of business so if a pack sold out at 2 pm it would be replaced the following morning before opening. Yeah it says 20% left but the reality here on the ground is most every place has already replaced this game with game 1593. No game ends up with 100% cash in for some reason even when last day to cash in passes there will probably be 5-7% uncashed. You probably have another 5-7% that have already been sold just not cashed in yet. I was hitting 3-5 new books every day for the last 3 months, yesterday and today nothing. In the last week I had 1 good day. Yeah it's over.

Hi spencerjames, that's a very interesting game! I can see where someone in a position to monitor ticket sales and results on any given book might be able to make informed ticket purchases after seeing a certain number of duds pass. Here in FL $30 tickets come in books of 30 tickets, and given the posted odds on that game 1599 it looks like on average for every 30 tickets there's two $100 wins and one $500 win, or about a 78% overall return.

They still show 6000 uncashed $500 winners but the reality is this game is over. It has been replaced by game 1593 pretty much everywhere. Really sucks, I was hoping they would replace it with another game with the same pay table. But I'm sure they have figured out how easy it is to beat.

Hi spencerjames - sounds like you have a huge winning streak - if you are in Washington State they have 14 games where winning that amount is possible with just $500 wins. What game # is the scratch ticket you are talking about.

Hi spencerjames, I've researched this some in the past and from what I can tell from IRS info is that all net gambling income is taxable. If at or above the claimer level then it's obviously automatically reported.

If though, like you mention, you have a series of $500 winners, even though there's no paper trail so to speak I believe that the net winnings in both part and in total are taxable as income - but the direct paper trail that would otherwise result from claimer-level wins are lac... [ More ]

No, because it is less than $599 and so you were not made to fill out a 1099 form before collecting your winnings. 1099 forms are how the IRS can track winnings.
