The rules changed because of the virus and people working in state offices are no longer held accountable for not doing their jobs. There is no in person interaction so they are free to tell you any story they can come up with. The unemployment people in KY still haven't processed claims from March. Whom to call is another problem and it may take a call to a local TV or radio station.

WOW! Time to bring the pressure. Contact local politicians press. See if they can help.

Not sure which is worse, your situation or the many states which say 'By Appointment only' so you have to work your world around the appointment.

We are lucky here in Maryland, they have some local stores which can cash up to 5k and the casinos can do up to 10k.

This is why I'm frustrated. My sister calls me ever day complaining about the delay. She just call and told me she call the DO again. The lady said they are still processing claims from August 18th???? She also said if there is a problem someone will call her and she will get an email. Just be patience. I wonder what the email says when they keep the money because you owe someone.

On August 19th evening draw my sister hit 5051 str8. Went to the DO in Miami Lakes the next day. Her tickets has not been processed yet. When she called them she was told they are still processing the claims from August 18th and she would get congratulation email when her ticket is being processed. She still have not got the email. Its frustrating because if there was no Covid-19. You would have the check within a couple of hours. She was also told they process between 100-200 claims a day and b... [ More ]
