There isn't one.

I just wrote a test page to test Arizona's pick-3 from two thousand three hundred something results just to see if it does better than 1/1000 odds.

Events are mutually exclusive, meaning every event starts with 1000 sets. Your

prior probabilities(hence historical data) is hard to established. We assume for convenience

that the pool structure before event is 0123456789, but it could 0112478903,5478890120 etc.

A good read on Frequentist data sampling and Markov chains will help.

Pick-3 Random Overdued Numbers System

System: For this system, you simply pick a random number that hasn't appeared in the previous 950 draws. That's it.

Backtest findings: Through back-testing, I have observed you can get anywhere from 0 to 6 straight wins out of 1000 draws (on different back-testing runs). Now 0 out of 1000 draws is terrible but 6 straights out of 1000 is great, that's 6 fold improvement. However....

When observed longer like 23,000 draws you get around 23 straight wins so that's still 1/1000 odds.
