Hmm. I never knew about The Chat until this very thread. It seems like Chat was a very good thing. This is the exact opposite of, Don't know what you have until it's gone. I JUST found out about it and how good it was AFTER it is gone. Sad.

I appreciate the chat sessions and the friendships made because of work I have been unable to get to chat like I want to or have in the past . Thanks for the chat friendships and chatter and I always have e mail if anyone needs a question or help.

I recognize the need to close the Chat forum.

The transcripts will show the few members who tirelessly showed

up every Sunday to keep the Chat forum alive in this past year!

I'm actually going to miss that feature. I wasn't able to participate as parlayman because of some way the site knew I had been daftcash, so it always automatically put daftcash in there as the user name and then wouldn't allow me to log into Chat. I figured it would be bad form to complain about that since you were kind enough not to ban me for those shenanigans, but it's still kind of a funny story on me...

Lottery Post is ending its Sunday chat sessions, at least for now.

There are very few people using chat at this point because the chat server is based on Flash, which almost nobody uses on their computers anymore, and which is not compatible with mobile phones. Also, all major browsers are ending their support for chat starting this month, so it won't even be an option anymore.

It is possible at some point in the future that Lottery Post will try adding the feature again, using a different... [ More ]
