I've tested this theory myself with some success. I've also found that if you use the digits starting from Sat, Sun, and Monday, starting new, at least one combo will show up at some point through the week.

Could be 3 or 4 days out, or the next draw.

Now along with other ideas I decide which ones I may use. These weekend pairs usually show the next week. I also use roots,sums,hot digits.

Hi Scrubber, your idea does have an effect on how to make a decision about choosing a number to play. With Pick3 in my country most of the time it will be the ONE number factor of being drawn, as to TWO NUMBERS less likely to be drawn. The problem is which of the TWO or FOUR numbers can we choose from ? Would it be a rule of thumb for deciding whether to use Cold, Warm or Hot numbers ? I don't use Deltas myself. What I look for are repeatable patterns.

By repeatable I mean a pattern that doesn't just run for a few days or a month.

I have a method I'm currently testing. Very promising results so far.

But not ready just yet. A little more tweeking.

This isn't so much a method as it's something I noticed while playing with rundowns.

Most of the digits so far as I can tell with Ontario Pick 3, are coming from 2 draws back.

Narrows it down to 2 possible digits. Not every time, but happens a lot.

Have a look at your lotto and see if it's the same.

Maybe a lotto god on this forum can use this and share their findings.
