There must be some advantage to the lottery, otherwise they wouldn't do it that way. But what the advantage is I can't really work out mathematically.

Maybe having 43 second place winners in last Saturday's PB offers some insight. 25.5 million tickets were sold, so with the odds of winning the 2nd place prize at about 1 in 11.688 million 2.2 winners would have been statistically normal. Love the graphs. Think more like a qubit, with a maybe state and ability to change mind when looking at same scenario. Is 8 out of 10 times..all the first or last the same number. So the percentages very convincing and yet when look at it, poof gone.

It is a good question why Lotto Max does not allow a player to self-pick all three lines but instead forces two out of three to be quick picks. There must be some advantage to the lottery, otherwise they wouldn't do it that way. But what the advantage is I can't really work out mathematically.

just tried ..RNG and gave these 3. In Lotto Max when pick own numbers, the next 2 lines are random picked. So can't replicate. Why can't pick all 3 rows if isnt some advantage to the house?

Not rigged. That is how random works. I'd be more concerned if there were 0 out of 10 repeated numbers.

Every time buy Lotto Max ticket for any draw there are so so many numbers in common. Bought ticket for 7 draws and there are same numbers on each of the 3 lines. Doesn't seem to matter if is a one draw or multiple draw, if pick the first row numbers or do all quick pick. My poor clerk is starting to catch my concern as say I'd like to keep supporting them yet if get ticket online can cancel after one draw.

I just looked at tonight's ticket bought for 7 draws. .
