You're right, the matrix needs to be much bigger to have a chance of finding quints with the desired property. Unfortunately the search takes forever. I've tried running through the search space for Superlotto Plus that has a 5/47 + 1/27 matrix and I can only do small ranges at a time. Haven't found any magic quints yet.

Cant say I would pick numbers this way but everybody's got their thing. You have to go up to bigger matrix like Powerball to find unique quints, I imagine.

I have a hang-up about not repeating numbers when I buy multiple lines, so I found all the sets of three combos in 5/39 that have the same sum and product but all unique numbers. Unfortunately, there aren't any sets of four or five combos that have same sum/product with all unique numbers. There are 1065 triples in this list and a few are highlighted as examples.

[1, 8, 12, 15, 20], [2, 4, 9, 16, 25], [3, 5, 6, 10, 32]

[1, 9, 12, 14, 20], [2, 5, 7, 18, 24], [3, 4, 6, 15, 28]

[2, 7, 12,... [ More ]
