My wife doesn't think she knows better than me how to spend our money, but she's smart enough to know if I spend it stupidly whether it's our money or my money. That works just fine because I very rarely spend it stupidly.

Dear Santa,

I have been a good boy this year. Ate all my vegetables,studied hard for my tests,wore my mask faithfully. Heck, I even mowed part of my neighbors lawn for him and weed-whacked around his mailbox.

Now I realize that there may have been a vulgar noun or 2 slip out or certain finger waived when someone that cuts me off or leaves their brights on while driving behind me but I am working on that slight imperfection.

I voted 'No' because I had to.

She has her vices, I've got mine. In the forty years we've been married, neither of us has ever asked the other to quit their bad habits. I'm pretty sure she'd like me to win some kind of a lottery jackpot, but not once has she ever said anything to me about that. I play responsibly, and she knows that, so I guess that's why she's never complained about the money I spend on lottery tickets.

I have played the lottery for close to 40 years, and not once did she tell me to stop. But, I never let the lottery take money from living expenses even in years I spent more than I intended. The bills always got paid and food put on the table. She wanted me to win as bad as I did. Just sad I wasn't able to before she passed.
