Skywatchers were in for a treat with the last full supermoon of 2021 the strawberry moon.

The strawberry moon, which actually didn't look red or like a strawberry, illuminated a golden color across the sky Thursday evening and peaked at 2:40 p.m. EDT, but was not visible until later in the evening.
