I think that the Not allowed to buy Competitors items even off the clock, might be a Principle thing. But I work for Walgreen's and I sometimes shop at CVS which is my Direct Competition, and I don't get into trouble for that although a CVS Manager did say something like, Don't you think it's a bit weird that a Walgreen's Employee is shopping at CVS? I mentioned something like, CVS has something on sale this week that I want, that Walgreen's doesn't have on sale. He was like, Okay. Fair point. B... [ More ]

Really..!!..Well, I wouldn't be able to work for ANY Company thinking that they ought to oversee what food I may consume..!!.. That's a bit ridiculous..I have heard that some Employers ask for your Facebook password and what have you!..a step beyond Big Brother to Big Daddy .

Hmm. I've read that Coca Cola Workers aren't allowed to buy Pepsi Products even off the clock. And vice versa... I don't know what would happen if a Lottery Clerk can be like, Meet me at Publix at 6 after my shift is over and I'll buy the ticket from you....

Yea, I see your point..I wonder if LOs can bark about it if the Clerk waited til he got off work to purchase it..meaning the RULES apply only when they're an official Clerk..

Hmm. The Lottery Officials said something like, We aren't really looking for Lottery Clerks who Discount. We are looking for Lottery Clerks who steal so I guess they really didn't care that he would have helped a Player circumvent paying their IRS Debt as long as he didn't steal from the Player.... He only got a fine because Discounting is against Lottery Rules. The REAL reason the Lottery doesn't like Discounting is because the Lottery doesn't get their cut! LMAO! :D LMAO!

That does sound about right..but I don't think the Lottery gets a cut of such a small amount as $1,000. tho..

That Clerk was lucky to get off so lightly..he could've been charged with aiding abetting a person who allegedly revealed to him their intentions of Income Tax Evasion..

There was an Undercover Lottery Official Sting for Lottery Clerks. A Lottery Clerk told the Female Undercover Lottery Official the truth that she won $1,000.
