There is a simple way to test if filters are configured to accidentally remove all possibilities:

Go to the Deflate 3 tool Select the option to include all straight combinations Leave the Input area blank Open the Filters area and choose your filters Click the Deflate Combinations button. Your filtering application or wheel should handle it. Either with some sort of table backed lookup(easier for smaller games 10000 combinations) or some smart rule backed by algorithms on a case by case basis - it's upto the developer.

When you go back to the Gail Howard book she uses filters separate and conjunctive as markers to where the game is going.

Probably wouldn't be any reason, and do very little to know how many odd or even is in each sum, but you could do it.

You could combine hi/lo and e/o and came up with HEHOLELO, HOHOHO, HEHEHE, LELELE and a LOLOLO.
