We can average together for Pennsylvania the 4th, 5th and 6th highest prizes, and come to some conclusion of what prizes might still be out there. I wish we could take it down to the lowest prize available like in MD, but from what I have (and these will update again tomorrow), I have the following:

For the $5 Million Money Maker, I have 67.81% of the tickets remaining, meaning 32.19% have sold.

So the new and 1st ever $50 FL ticket that came out Feb 28th (500X the Cash) isn't for the faint of heart...1/4.5 odds but winners start at $100, and $500 odds are 1/48. $1K prize odds actually don't compare favorably to the two current $30 games here, but other mid range prize odds at the $5K, $10K and $20K levels are good. I hit a $5K last weekend on it, and a $500 a couple days ago.

In a way that kind of sucks. It makes me think the $75 winners are a huge percentage of winners. You have gone 5 for 7, over 70% and up $25.

They have to make it bigger wins to make a $50 ticket worth it IMO.

Here in WA state, we have a $30 ticket with prizes of $30, $40, and $50. So generally only 2 winners per book over $50. It's a terrible terrible pay table

Nice analytics, Downtoclaimtown, and yeah getting this info here in FL used to be a lot more complex before the Lotto a couple years ago, fortunately, started posting on their website the avail prizes and odds for all prize levels. I only wish they'd decrement avail prizes for ones they know will not be sold (like partial books returned, lost/stolen tickets/books, etc.)

I've done some poking around on this information in Pennsylvania, specifically.

For the most part, there is some geographic dispersion. There are a few tickets that seem to strike in close proximity. You see a lot of people complain on the PA Lottery Facebook page that winners are only in certain counties, but it's based on where tickets sell and Pennsylvania's population is heavily balanced toward specific counties and areas. I've had no luck with the new $30 game. Seems like a ton of losers. The $20 Christmas game still has 3 $1 Million prizes left out of 5. May be a good ticket to poke around for one of those prizes.

Spent a few years down in Bensalem in the late 90's when I was dating someone. We hit the Wawa on Bristol, but don't think I was ever in the one on Street Road.. I have seen a few hits on the $50's. #15 and #49(different packs) hit $200 and found a $500 on #47.. My sister won a batch of 10 on a local fire company raffle. She doesn't play the lottery. So I saw an article that someone just hit a 5,000,000 winner in Bensalem Bucks County (articles on all the local news websites). Bad odds on these $50 tix aside, if I happen to be in that vicinity, I would think I should avoid that ticket because they probably spread them around the state. Has there been any research on that

You can deduce how many winners are at each level by knowing the total number of tickets printed.

PA gives that although you have to work for it

They state in the game rules.. for example

5 top prizes of $1,000,000

,odds of winning are 1 in 2,000,000

Therefore 2,000,000 x 5 = 10,000,0000 total tickets

The thing with the odds is... the only real value in that is, basically nothing.

So if a $30 ticket has odds of 1:3.58 and the next one comes in at 1:3.72 there's not really

that much of a difference. Running the math out that means there are 100 winners in every 372

tickets. The older game, 100 winners in 358 tickets... not much better. 14 winning tickets difference

in 350+ tickets. About 3 winners different per book.

It is indeed a ticket to avoid. It always feels like a few of the bigger wins on a ticket are seeded towards the early days of the release.

I would not chase, and if your anything like me, I advise not even buying more than one. In my mindset, that makes me feel a lot more

committed if I don't win anything, more inclined to buy the next ticket, more inclined to chase.

Agree with everything. I gave the $50's one more shot and got a few $75's and duds to end a roll. Still nothing over $75.

I hit $100 on the $20 xmas and then $100, 40, 30, 50 and dud on the $20 Fast Play Jackpot Party. Totally seeing how the fast play odds are better and any store could have the winner unlike a scratch off. Will have to stick to those for now.

I watched the YouTube video. The poster does a good job with his videos. Watching all those losers one after the other makes ya not feel so bad when you get 2 or 3 in row. Overall tickets have been very tight so far this year. A major shift I've seen has been from matching numbers to symbols. Seems like if you don't get a symbol your odds of winning drop significantly. GetReal.. I did buy # 043 today and it lost. This was the same pack ending in 920(my nieces bday) I had him open on day 1.. Seeing there was 6 tickets left I decided to grab them and will play later.. That is the only way I would chase. End of roll meaning if the final 7 are duds, there is no chance to chase.

If you're gonna buy $30 tickets the best bet would be the Fat Wallet fast play games. The odds are much better than the scratch offs. The other thing is that the usualy jackpot is around $1.4Miilion. As the jackpot grows you can buy more tickets when it reaches $1.39million as its due to hit.

Can't do the same with scratch offs.

Personally I'm 1 for 4 on these now. A single $75 win. Two other losers I bought, and the one loser we split on I mentioned above.

I watched on youtube a guy scratch an entire book of these. As many as six losers in a row, with a $75 win following. I think he got back around $1600 out of the $2500 book. Every game gets worse than that last as far as odds.

$20 tickets were at one point 1 winner for every 2.92 tickets. Now they are near 1: 3.5 tickets. That's a significant difference and a really bad bet. You'd have to buy 350 tickets ($7000) to win on 100 tickets. Not including the top prize the average payout is $26.70 for winners. That turns that $7000 investment into $2670... Horrible.

At 2.92 your $5840 investment would pay back 2670.

Tried 1 more today and lost. I also got the final (3) of the new $20 ticket and they all lost making me 0-5 on those. Then I saw the odds which are 1:3.46 which is up from the normal 1:3.13ish of a normal $20. Good ole PA. This will be the end until next paycheck when I will try another $50. I haven't been cashing my winners to make sure I don't give it all back. If I cash $75 I will put it back. If I cash $300 then I will bring it home.

So went to dinner with my in laws last night, my father in law is a big time gambler (casino's and scratchers). We went to a pizza hut that's right next to a big beer distributor that has a lot of lotto tix. So we split on a $50 ticket. Loser. I was tempted to buy the next ticket or two for myself but he didn't seem like he wanted to split on two more (they are going to a casino today and he wanted to save his cash) and I didn't want it to be akward if I did manage to hit $200 or $500.

Won 5 out of 7 now. Every win has been $75.. I think 2 of them were money rolls, 2 were # matches and one as a Bonus. I realize though that this game seems to be loaded with the $75... If you take the odds, it seems like there should be 10 of them per pack, 2-$100's(rounding up) and 1-$200. That would mean 13 winners @ 1150.. PA normally pays back 50-60%, so I would assume there is an extra $75 or so per pack. There is a $500 in every 58 tickets, so that's close to 1 per roll as well. It's def a... [ More ]

Well now 4 for 6 as tonight's $50 ticket hit $75 making me dead even. 6 tickets, $300 won.. This now marks the first time (in I am not sure how long) that I didn't have a claim ticket to claim on next years taxes.. Either my luck is that bad or the PA loterry isn't the same as it was 5 years ago..

I am now 3 for 5 and have one to scratch tonight. I always hated the PA $30's as I feel they never hit. If you buy a pack you are out $420 worse case. A pack of $20's puts you out about $240 worse case and just feel you hit better on those. The only $30's I liked were the Extreme Green(my store sold a $3mil, $50k and 25k on that one), the white one from last year and then the black ticket from like 2 years ago. I forget the names and too lazy to look, but the 30's this year feel like crap.

I got absolutely beat up on the $30 tickets. Many losers, most winners were $30 or $50 and they were few and far between. My biggest win that I recall on a $30 ticket was $150, on a 6th ticket, after losing on 5 in a row.

I really don't know that I have it in me to pop on $50 tickets. A dud would be a pretty big gut punch. A few people on my facebook are posting $500 wins. One guy bought 3 last night, one was a $500 winner. Sure that's nice. I'd be the guy who buys 3 and loses on all 3 and... [ More ]

Hi BT3100, +1 to you, indeed with the posted odds from the odds table and known win count for the $5M prize the 7.2M tickets should be a good number. I went ahead and worked up a valuation table and calculated game payout at just over 80%. I have now purchased 4 and had (3) - $75 winners. There are 50 tickets per pack and let's say roughly 13 winners.. I will even be generous and go with 15(until I hear of anyone buying a roll). That still leaves 35 duds @ $50 a dud. They should have added a $50 prize to allow the odds to be closer to 1:2.50..That would lead to 20 winners and less duds. The overall odds should be in the low three's such as 1 in 3.15 or high two's. It hurts to loose $100 bucks if you buy one or two and lose.

And 1:1,440,000 for the jackpot. That's a long shot.

At odds of 1:3.69 this game is a loser even with the $75 minimum payout.

Odds to.win $5MM are 1:1,440,000 and there are 5 top prizes so that would equal a total of 7,200,000 tickets being sold.

I bought one today, and won $75, but I will not be buying one again. I assumed the overall odds for a $50 ticket would be below 2.9X, but the overall odds for this ticket are 3.69, which is totally inexcusable and just greedy from the PA lottery. Odds for most $20 tickets are under 3.2.

Like you say with only the remaining wins among the upper prize amounts posted it's impossible to calculate overall number of tickets, and subsequently a game's payout percentage. I did enjoy that virtual scratch feature, and indeed the winning pattern that was revealed was one of the ones listed on the odds table you had posted. Bought (2) of the $50 ticket. One from each pack as the pack #'s ended in family members birthdays. He let me pick which packs I wanted to open... The 1st ticket had $75.00 down in the Bonus section. The 2nd ticket had a $75 single number match. Def a large ticket that makes you feel like with so many chances to win that you can't lose. Well we know that's not the case. Cape. Good find on the image. The website did finally update. They don't tell you how many packs are left or $ amounts. We get the top 5-ish amount, but not all the way down to ticket value. Interesting for sure to see that PA is rolling out a $50 game. There's been rumors of one coming here in FL but nothing so far. This state's lottery has a habit of introducing top denomination games ($30 here) every Feb, so maybe 2022 will be the year for a $50 game, we'll see.

The website still doesn't show a photo but the overall odds are 1:3.69 . I initially thought that was way high until I saw there is no $50 prize. $75 is the smallest prize to be won. I also heard the cut length is the same as crossword tickets and looks to have a few bonus spots. Top prize is 5 Million, but the next largest amount is $500,000 .. Then the 3rd highest prize is only $25K. Would have been nice to have some larger non jackpot prizes.
