I wouldn't mind putting together a wheel of 1000 lines with my filter-wheeler. We eventually would find enough players too but the problem is to print them or to submit them. 1000*1.25=1250 EUR tickets. Find 100 players and it is 12.5 per person. Find 50 players ... . I've seen at least 1 rollover per week so far this month. The jackpot usually more than doubles and that is the game to play. 2 rollovers caused the jackpot to only go up about 10%.

If the group only plays after a rollover, and someone else wins the pot, the so called free quick picks would be saved until the next rollover occurs and played along with the groups picks.

Every 2nd chance opportunity would be entered and the proceeds if any would be split.

The other thing you'd have to codify in your group rules is how to play the second chance drawing. Since you get one entry per 5 lines of FF (even if they're losers) it seems the way to get the most bang for your buck is to sumbit the max of 500 all at once. (unless they raised the cap

Always best to form a group with people you know in real life, and if you are playing CA Fantasy 5, you don't want to split it more than 5 ways that's for sure.

I did a quick survey of the past jackpot payouts and on a day with no rollover, it pays about $75,000. After 1 rollover it pays about $180,000. And after 2 rollovers it reaches about $350,000. How are you playing thousands of tickets? Doesn't seem feasible logistically.

And if you haven't won anything significant, it would appear you are doing quickpicks but I may be wrong. Sometimes myProbability Math get broken.

Especially with respect to including members here on Lottery Post. Lottery Post guru's would not join such a group and that is fine. If they did they would certainly validate your points 1-4.

I am not saying that I am prepared to handle such a group; but if I did, I would start with people closer to home.

1) You'll have a loud mouth who will tell the group, Listen to me!

2) You'll have a couple who win the most who will wonder why they joined. They'll break away.

3) Someone will always be saying others aren't pulling their own weight.

4) A person who will critique others play, irrelevant of his own.

5) People who join thinking it is a quick way to win.

We participate in Jackpocket MM and PB pools, usually 5 to 10 thousands tickets in our pool for each drawing. We never won anything significant. Typical return is about 10%. We always see success of few, but ignore the failure of vast majority. Yes, more tickets mean higher chances, but not guaranteed.

Common sense to me would mean if you want to save money don't spend money on the lottery.

Odds are the lottery is a losing proposition.

Buying more tix is a double edged sword. Yes, buying more tix will increase your chances of winning, but will also increase your cost. Because of the odds of jackpot games, your chances of winning a jackpot are still very poor.

I was part of a pool that won $15,000 but the high-fives stopped after realizing with 30 people in the pool doesn't leave very very much especially after taxes.

Not sure about creating a pool to split $50 prizes.

If 50 people play Fanta 5 (CocaCola-lotto) and about 50 combinations, then they play $1 each. I think that pool play is more for big jp-games mega, power or 6/49 for example. You could do daily keno pick 10's. That locally pays 250000 for 1, you can have several 10/10's. I don't know of anyone ever winning 10/10 here.

If they don't have pick 2, then you probably still can play straight pairs. In Belgium you can only play the front and the back pair. That still makes 2 pick 2's. I miss the pick 1 (spot 1) option at keno 20/70. Most keno games have 70 numbers, not 80 today. Does anybody have a list? Belgium, France and Germany have 20/70, the Netherlands has 20/80. 3:1 here. it mainly is pick 2 to pick 10 there. Payouts differ, the currency and cost is the same. Texas doesn't have a Pick 2 game.

Seriously mind boggling to me that 10 people would get together, play 50 combinations to win $50 straight or $25 boxed.

Using Florida, if 10 people all toss in $5 to play all 50 combinations, they are guaranteed to win one or the other.

On one hand they break even, on the other they lost half their money.

If 5 people put in $10, the most they win on a straight is still $50, ($10 each).

I don't see it.

Only when they play more combinations. If 10 colleagues play 1 line of a lotto, they play for 10 cents each if the price is $1 or 1. There they don't increase their chances, but they make more chance then when they don't play at all.

This should be a poll. rollingeyesdude (I should know where he is after all this time, but come one man!)

I say FACT!! ANd for several reasons.

1) Cost is spread out, so pressure is off.

2) A combined lottery goal by social endeavor fosters positive enthusiasm towards the atttainment of the goal.

3) Pattern recognition can be spread out over multiple brains, and one puny brain does not need to do the whole three hour workout.
