I played my wedding anniversary on Powerball with a Powerplay and won $400. I was literally 1 number off(I picked 10 instead of 11 for one digit) of winning $40,000. Even so, we had a great 10th wedding anniversary.

Just look at the risk the person in a recient news article here on Lp took. The person won over 100,000 in playing pick 3 but baught 234 tickets and hit straight.. I have seen this type of thing happen in pick 4 but not with any consistency. I would think anyone playing a single or set of few numbers would play them progressivley.

I made the risky bet of playing Cash Pop 1,2,3,4,5, at $5 each for $25. This was a risky bet. 4 came up and I won $100. :) So I made a $75 profit. :) It paid off but that could have been a $25 loss as that's only a five number cushion.
