'How do I quote someone the regular way?

Well, 1st , you Highlight Copy what you want to quote from them..then hit reply ,.. select the drop- down box ( pencil ) to select the color you'd want the quote to appear in..now press hold your finger in the empty reply window to paste what you copied..you can apply B old, I talicize or U nderline as needed..

Don't forget to disengage those specific tools from the Toolbar, when you write YOUR reply..!

I'm tired of posting 3/5 hits and the rare 4/5 match. Only hit 4/5 three times in three years. So nothing to brag about. My next ticket shown will be a jackpot win. This grind is making my mind play tricks on me. I think there was a rap song with a similar title. I'll push through it and see you on the other side. That would be the jackpot side.

The Kentucky Lottery's 5/39 game pays nothing for matching two numbers, $5 for matching three and $250 for matching four. However for an extra $1 players get a multiplier of 2, 3, 4, or 5 and all two number matches pay $2. The jackpot starts at $40,000 and rolls a minimum $5000 when there is no winner. Now that there has been two drawings held, I think we can see the pattern for what the future holds as far as jackpots go. The midday draw jackpots will be low, and the evening draw jackpots will be substantially higher. (Last nights jackpot was almost three times higher than the midday's)

Agreed that there will be plenty of midday drawings and also evening draws that there wont be a jackpot winner. That's what happened in New York's 5/39 game, Take5, when The New York Lottery went to two Take5 draws per day. I expect that when there is a jackpot winner, the larger amount will appear in the evening drawing. The midday draw sales window has the overnight hours in it when ticket sales will be low. March 19th evening draw paid $161,000 for the single winner and $112 for 231 4/5 winners. If there wasn't a jackpot winner that night. The 4/5 winners would've maxed out at $555 and 3/5 winners would've been paid around 15 bucks. So that's not to bad. There will be plenty of nights it doesn't hit. So 4/5 should max out a lot. Well, it looks like the total take for the first ever midday drawing was approximately $138,000.

Fifty percent of that ($69,000) funds the winners prize pool for all cash prizes, the other 50% goes to The State of Florida.

Sixty two percent of the winners prize pool funds the jackpot which was $42,631 to the lone winner.

They do the same with Lucky Day Lotto in Illinois. You can play consecutive draws in the midday or evening draws.

Just by watching the winning payouts it seems more play the evening draws.

I picked up a small brochure at Publix yesterday that explained the new change to Fantasy5.

From reading it, it's very possible that the new additional drawing will not negatively impact the jackpot amount for the evening drawing.

Maybe that explains the error I got today trying to buy advance play. No budget for twice daily on this. Justing618 makes a good point. Wasn't aware of the 1 in 100k odds for pick 5 payout. I suppose the odds translated to payout is similar to an unshared fantasy 5 win. 50k x 3.77 = 188.5k. Might give pick 5 a try.

P.S. I think I might be the oldest newest member lol. Got back into lotto recently after like 15 years.

Years ago I did hit 4 out of 5 and won $555. The other number was TWO DIGITS OFF. Talk about disappointing. There's such a disparity on the lower tier prizes compared to the top tier being so low. Never really thought about it til your post

I drove down to get my monthly tickets and was told that I could only get my F5 numbers through March 19 because on the 20th, they will go to twice a day draws. This is deeply disappointing as I have played those numbers for 18 years and I'm not interested in paying twice as much for advance plays. Logic would dictate that if those numbers haven't hit, they likely won't, but of course there's a little nagging in the back of my mind that says if I stop, then those numbers will hit.
