You hit the nail on the head. Being able to just live and not worry about things.

Getting away from it all would be nice too. Settling down in another place, maybe even another country.

This earth is so big - to live ones entire life on just one corner of the earth does not sound fair to me.

The idea is not to hop everywhere, but just to experience different cultures one day at a time.

I like your reasoning. Even the wealthiest people on Earth cant help everybody that is so true. One can only do what one can do.

Everybody that doesn't have a lot of money thinks they'd be on Easy Street if they were suddenly a multimillionaire.

I would love to experience that and see how I feel about it. I totally agree that money won't solve all the issues in life. Can't solve relationship stuff with family and relatives with money.

Definitely want to be debt free. (Only have one loan left to pay, no other debts :) ).

Freedom from the 9 to 5 grind. Having choices on how to spend the time on this earth that's been alloted to me is the ultimate freedom a human could have, imo.

Would continue to actively invest and yes, I would continue trying my luck with the Lotto. The thrill of the chase, I suppose.

I'd like to have enough so I have no debts and don't have to worry about money.

The main thing I want to do is find a place where I can lead a quiet peaceful life pursuing my hobbies, interests, etc and not having to worry about anything.

Like Gerry Rafferty sang, Settle down in a quiet little town and forget about everything.

I'd like to do something like that.

When I first starting doing this back in March of this year, I did it because I was bored. I have a creative mind that needs to be fueled with stimulation and imagination. For years, off and on, I have tinkered with trying to understand the Pick 3 system. I've always believed there's more to it than meets the eye. I play the lottery for a little entertainment...and oh yeah, I'd like to win a big pile of cash too.

I want wealth because having more than enough money represents freedom. If you're wealthy, your wealth gives you options that many other people don't have.

I'd like to be debt free. Because I haven't been debt free since I was a kid, I'd like to remember what it's like not to have to think about whether or not there's there's enough money in the checkbook to cover all the bills each month... [ More ]

I play cause I like imaging that I will one day wake up and win a big prize! Big for me is $100k or more.

I would really love to be debt free, purchase a condo (in cash) a new car. Travel once a month and work part time. I could live comfortably on $5k a month.

I also love to shop, so that would obviously be easier with a substantial amount of funds.

It depends on the game.

Pick3 would be for beating the system if I could ever find a system that worked...

Jackpot games would be for the opportunity to get TIME... not having to rely on an employer for income that is traded for time and stress.

I had quite a reflective day and I pondered the question;

Why do I want to win the lottery?

What's my motivation for playing and subsequently winning the lottery?

Is it an opportunity for me to get even with friends, family and relatives who have not been good to me?

Is it time for them to know who is The Boss?

I have come across comments on different forums where someone says Once I win the jackpot, so and so can go to hell, they will never see a penny from me
