Well beings you wanna spout off about California's population. Do some research on how many states sell lotto. Then how many retailers per state. And another odd thing the stores where so close together. The 2 billion dollar one had that glitch remember? The numbers where not posted till the next day? New Jersey should be added to this list. For the jackpot drawing, California sold $35 million dollars compared to Texas I believe at $21 million and maybe a couple at $19 million others. The rest with double digit teens of millions. California just sells more tickets, but occasionally even small states like Delaware sell a winning ticket.

We'll probably never get the actual percentage of total QP sales or even when a jackpot is won. It seems more likely self picks have a majority when the Jackpot is $20 million and under $100 million because many play their pet numbers regardless of the jackpot size.

Somebody posted one of the social sites the top ten Powerball pots and where they were won. California had five of the top ten, including the top four.

On the news the night of the draw the reporter said the officials told him about 82% is won by QP and only 18% were personal picks.

You know what's even more odd?

That some people didn't check the population of Southern California (24 million) or how many stores selling lottery tickets?

Fun fact: Almost 10 million people live LA County alone compared to 6 million people living in the state of Maryland. Eleven states each sold over 4 million tickets in the $1.764 Billion drawing with California selling 17,768,334 and Florida selling another 10,789,215 tickets. You know what's even more odd? The 2 billion dollar powerball ticket and this last billion dollar one. Both tickets where sold 75.6 miles away from each other. So now you think. All the states that play. And all the retailers within those states that sell tickets? And 76.5 miles away another winning ticket is sold. And I don't know if this part is true because I was 2 discussed to look it up. But supposedly the last 3 billion dollar or over a billion jackpots where sold in So Cal.

California has The lowest Power Ball payout, California is the state we had a problem with once before with the numbers being drawn ( in secret ) the next day, Californians seem to have an inside track on large prize pools.....or is it the lottery somehow doing the unthinkable...... we want/deserve answers, because we're tired of the BS
