One more hoop to jump thru. I think eventually a segment of the Internet users will just say if it needs this much security and tracking I just will not bother with the Internet except when I have no choice.

No big deal, just noticed it was new. I have seen it other places as well. I generally stick to only using chrome on an android, or edge on the laptop.

I've noticed a problem of letter chattering/stuttering at the extreme left of anything after the 1st sentence..!! What's up with that

Hey all, a quick update on the Cloudflare bot checking thing.

After some investigation I was able to (I think) figure out how to adjust the sensitivity of the bot checking. In other words, to hopefully make it appear less often (or not at all).

I just adjusted the settings down to their lowest sensitivity, so let's see if it has any effect.

Starting the date/time of this post, see if you have fewer bot checks that happen. I'd love to see them go away completely (for everyone except a... [ More ]

All you have to do is click one box for security reasons.

In this day and age it's better to be safe than sorry.

There are a couple of common scenarios that can trigger the human check. These are just a couple that come to mind; there are many others I am sure.

Changing networks

Let's say you're accessing Lottery Post on your phone on the way home from the store. Your phone is using the cellular network to communicate with Lottery Post (AT T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.).

It is a Cloudflare feature that basically checks that you're a real person. It happens to me too, and the literal 2 seconds it takes to finish is never a big deal to me. Is it a big deal to you

Lately I have been seeing something by cloudfare trying to verify if I am human before proceeding to this site. What is the purpose? I would have put this in the help section but saw no new post button there.
