Some people dress to impress. That's not me, but I would like to impress with accurate picks.

I have lots of experience and training useful for extracting signal from noise.

After more than a year of my attention on PB and MM prediction, I'm convinced there is some signal, albeit small, that helps with prediction.

I see no problem with you posting your 38 numbers for us to see since you posted how you made your picks for this draw. It is possible that some participants might not like the idea that someone is looking at their picks to help make their picks, but there isn't anything that one could do about it, but stop playing or waiting until you have posted your picks first, or wait until very late to post their picks. I'd like to combine our predictive efforts to help us get some real life wins for LottoPost Maddog challenge participants.

My short term goal in this challenge was to get two 4+1 challenge wins by the end of May, so I'm half way there. That seemed like a reasonable goal, given the behind-the-scenes pick evidence I am seeing. Unfortunately, I don't think that's enough to get a 3+1 or 4+0 IRL win. I think I need to improve my challenge results to 5+1 challenge wins in order to get a 3+1 or 4+0 win IRL. Not sure how to do that now. Not sure if that's possible.

See my other post-draw post in this thread. Some other LotteryPost Maddog challenge players helped me with that win this time, unbeknownst to them.

To help LotteryPost Maddog challenge players win in the future, I am willing to post my top38 white ball predictions in this thread when I post my challenge predictions. In my testing so far, the top38 always has 4 or 5 white ball hits. 38 choose 5 = 501942, so my prediction method seems to improve 5W hit odds by a factor of about 22 (assuming 5

I had a 3+0 win IRL out of 1 play. I was so so close to a 3+1 win IRL. Looking at my notes, there was more evidence to pick 23, so not sure why I didn't pick it. It was the #1 pick out of two pick methods I'm currently testing.

I tried a different variation of picking white balls this time. I have a white ball pick method which gives me 38 white ball picks which either have 4 or 5 white ball hits. I do not currently know how to subselect from 38 picks down to 5 picks IRL. So this time around... [ More ]
