It's also interesting that six of the seven triples drawn in a row were 111 or 555.

It reminds me of the Texas Lottery (a ball state) in the second half of 2012 (plus the first triple of 2013). They were still doing two drawings a day back then, Monday-Saturday.

It makes sense from a mathematically instinctive point of view.

I've noticed that sometimes posters complain about the lack of triples.

Keep in mind that the game is not designed for you to win, but lose.

Trips are rare yes, but with 730 draws a year (2daily) you should average around 7 trips a year. Of course some years it will be more and some it will be less however every year Wisconsin plays way below the average. 3 triples in 2020, 6 in-2021, 5 in-2022, 1 in 2023 and 3 so far this year. Triples have the highest payouts so I'm starting to believe this isn't random and it's the only state with such a huge discrepancy from average to actual plays.
