Unfortunately I am not in Texas, so that's not an option for me

It is also a fact that people win the jackpot when it resets at 20M, luck does not start when the jackpot is a certain amount.

However, I appreciate that everyone has the way they approach the lottery and I respect that too.

at those odds i don't play when the cash value is less than 600 million. total waste of money.

right now texas lotto jackpot cash value is 32 million and odds are like 1 in 25 million. you could buy 2 lotto texas tickets for the same price as one dumb powerball ticket and get way better odds of winning a similar sized cash jackpot. it's a no brainer.
