I don't believe I tried DOSBOX although I heard about it. Perhaps I'll give it a shot. Printing function will probably be a headache but the wheel generator does save results in files. Thx.

Consider having a dedicated machine for older software, for Advanced Lotto Tool I had to install windows virtual machine to run it, other programs can be run using the windows properties for older versions, though I suppose you already know that.

I tried that. Had an older desktop for that purpose but it died of old age. On new machines all attempts to run on Windows DOS shell failed. Wonder why? I used one of the earliest versions of C (I'm a C man) and I suspect this may be the reason why... [ More ]

You can try DOSBOX. Printing can be harder, but if it saves in a file, perhaps you can print it from notepad or notepad++.

So if you would like to see the 5005 combinations of 6 numbers in 15, Probaloto will print them out for you.

This is the statement in Probaloto description that triggered my attention. If this is a DOS application can it still run on anything, not to mention printing? I still have a bunch of my own design DOS softwares (wheel generator included) but I can't get anything running on any of my computers. Some stuff I reprogrammed for Windows but the generator was not included.

Many years ago I tried to purchase Probaloto, however I received a response from the then owner of the site (not Gary Olander) that unfortunately the program is no longer available.

Something similar, at least in concept of weighted random forecast had CastleLotto, but I never managed to hit more than 3# in 6/45.

Dropped the code in the Python Online Complier and it replicated the report you produced above the code. However, I don't see any connection with what Probaloto does. Please consider rereading the description on the link I posted and perhaps looking at the free manual there for running it.

Thought maybe you're looking for a key number wheel but with that type of wheel the key number or numbers appear on all the combinations. An unbalanced wheel has one or two numbers on more lines than other numbers, but usually not on the 1/3 you're looking for.

For a pick 6 lotto type game, use a 30 line pick 5 wheel and then create a pick 6 wheel by adding your two or three numbers. You may have to make your own wheel using a wheel maker.
