I got my check from the Colorado Lottery. The turn around time was one a week. I also love that the envelope does not mention the lottery, just like the California envelope above.

Looking forward to another trip in the future and hopefully a jackpot win

Finally the California Lottery check came in today. It took the longest time but am sure it's because of the volume that they have.

Louisiana requires sending a copy of a photo ID with claims sent by mail. They also allow photocopies of tickets to be mailed instead of originals(except Powerball and MegaMillions which require originals).

I'd probably send copies if allowed and a copy of my passport or passport card as ID.

In some of them yes.

For Texas I filled that info online then it generates an email with a barcode.

Am not concerned about such info, it's already all out in the dark web for 50 cents.

Over the years I have received emails from banks, insurance providers, cellular providers, third party vendors for online banking etc about hackings on their sites and information being stolen.

I used USPS on all of them, just a 78 cents stamp and dropped them in the box.

No tracking number, no priority mailing, just old fashioned.

I am waiting on the CA response, but am not worried, I know they process way more claims than most states.

If I won a jackpot from out of state, I would rather walk a 1,000 miles

I once received a $100 check on a second chance drawing from the Louisiana Lottery and it came in a window envelope with the logo and address like the one in the picture.

I once played the lottery in 3 states; Idaho, Colorado, and Louisiana when I attended a seminar in Boise. I didn't win any of them.

When you mailed these claims, did you use USPS or something else? Did you put tracking on them? I'd be hesitant to mail a claim to the lottery but you do what you need to do.

Not strange at all. The casinos don't like competition and they lobby to keep the lottery out so they can make all the money. In return, they donate large amounts to the state's coffers.

I went on a two week vacation road trip from 7/6 to 7/20, passing through Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado.

I bought multi draw progressive jackpot in all the States that offer the lottery.

The longest run was 20 days for the CA super lotto.

So after the final draw, I had winners from all the states, mailing them is the only option since I don't live in the above States.

I think it's because that's who they are.

When I mailed my winning ticket to California, the form says mail this claim.form at your own risk

So that's interesting.

Have mailed my last winners to CA and TX, let's see how the envelopes look like once they get to me, fingers

I won on Carlifonia Mega Million ticket but did not win anything on the super lotto plus.

I had bought for 20 draws for $20.

People living in California can do the second chance draw using the ticket, I want to donate it to anyone in CA.

I mailed my winning tickets to the Arizona lottery and today I got a check from them. I had asked if they could send me some Powerball tickets in lieu of the money, but looks like that is not possible. Thank you Arizona Lottery.

After all the draws, I mailed my winning tickets to the Arizona Lottery Today.

I put a note in there that asked if they could send me lottery tickets instead of the cash, let's see how it goes.

I believe because I am from another state they may not like the idea of someone from outside winning, lol but who knows.

No I did not, they were always enticing, looking at them under the glass counter and how colorful they make them.

If I had a winning scratcher, I wouldn't even know it's a winner.

I was at a 7-11 in Colorado Springs and there was this lady that would come to the counter, buy a scratcher, move over to the side, scratch it off, then come back and buy another, she did that three times while I was in the store and I left her in there

Most of our personal information is already out there in the dark web, I wouldn't really be worried about that. Major insurance companies have been hacked and info stolen, including mobile service providers and third party banking platforms.

Do you think if I asked for a ticket instead of the cash, would they mail that to me or they wouldn't want to do that?

Most states allow you to claim smaller prizes by mail. Check their web pages.

Good job skipping Idaho. Our lottery sucks. I keep wanting to drive to California just for some scratchers because they have some pretty good prizes. Someday I'll get around to it.
