August 16th mid-day Florida Fantasy5 drawing saw two winners of $27,658. And that's BEFORE Federal income taxes.

Sad fact of life here in Florida... too many people living down here now. Traffic is akin to NY's Long Island year round. I think there were 2 top winners today (Midday), so I'd expect a payout of about $50,000 for each winning ticket.

Fantasy 5 payouts dropped when they added the F5 midday draw. IMO they should go back to EVE draw only. I've messaged them about that and they don't seem to care.

BTW - F5 payouts not available today 8/16. System failure.

Good point about Florida having more people to split the winning money. Makes sense that the prize money went down with it being distributed amongst so many people. I guess the money pool would be better in a place like say Wyoming where there is a much smaller population.

That'z bcuz, Fla haz alot of People in itz State, thuz moe Lottery Playaz.. so, when Fantasy5 iz won, It'z split btween alot moe winnerz than normally in other States...reducing the para mutual payout...

Plus , it also makez it eazier to win, cauze itz numbaz pool is only 36 , which iz really hard to find elswhere comparatively speakin...az utha State'z Fantasy5 'z numbaz pool iz 39, or 42.

The top prize for Fantasy 5 is now roughly only $50,000 before taxes. The top prize used to be around $250,000 just a couple of years back. What a joke Fantasy 5 payouts are today.
