I don't see the problem with back to back draws.

I see two problems. One is that players would have a maximum of about 22 hours to get out and buy a ticket, assuming they want to wait to find out the results before buying a ticket for the next drawing. It may be closer to half that if lottery sales aren't allowed through the entire night. The other problem is the lottery's side of the same limited purchase period. Well, to evenly space 3 drawingz out, Sunday woulda been the only optional day left, in order to have at least 1 or 2 dayz in btween ea drawing ..

The purpose of a lottery with huge prizes is to award large amounts to a few people. Spreading wins out to a large number of bets is more like a penny slot machine.

If it were up to me, I would delete the small prizes of =$10 and funnel that money into the higher prizes up to 2nd prize.

I was curious about this today so posed a question on Google.

The site I was led to (but can't find again) said that Mega Millions promised no steady increases of any set amount but yet it seems lately that $10 millioin is a given.

False advertising
