dr san, Sounds interesting but it does bring this to mind. On a Sunday morning pre NFL games tv show a person came on telling people all about the things to consider about betting on football teams. He went on and on about team stats, power ratings, has th quarterback had an argument with his wife that morning to put him in a bad mood, etc After his lengthy diatribe someone backstage threw a football out to the stage and the announcer

said, Don't forget you're actually betting on how somethi... [ More ]

Sounds similar to what I am working with at the moment. What classifier boundaries do you use to separate hot and cold from transitional ?

I use slightly different terminology, calling transitional numbers neutral numbers. But the boundary is clearly defined. I started with 1 standard deviation above and below expectancy, but saw more stability and less sensitivity to outliers by using Q1 and Q4 from the quartiles (where Q2 us the median).

My filter is to cut hot and cold as outliers and... [ More ]

hello=

Guide: Lottery Filter System

The Logic Behind the System

The basis of this system is number frequency analysis. We divide all lottery numbers into three groups (or zones) to apply a combination strategy.

Hot Zones: Numbers that have been drawn most frequently in the draw history. These are the statistical favorites.

Cold Zones: Numbers that have been drawn less frequently or that have not been drawn for a long time.

Transition Zones: Numbers that have a medium frequ... [ More ]

1. Number Classification

First, you need to classify each lottery number (for example, from 1 to 60) into one of three categories:

Hot Zone: These are the numbers that have come up most frequently in recent draws (say, the last 50 draws). To identify these numbers, simply count how many times each has been drawn and select the ones that appear at the top of the list.

Cold Zone: These are the numbers that have come up with little or no frequency in recent draws. These are the numbers t... [ More ]
