			<description><![CDATA[<p>Nonary is an interesting choice... the highest single digit in any base N is N-1, making the single digits 0 through 8. A 9 is represented by 10. They start adding letters when the highest single digit exceeds 9, for example Undecimal (Base 11) is where you first see an A to represent 10 (N-1), and hexadecimal (Base 16) goes up to an F (15, again N-1).</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>That is where the spreadsheet formula comes in. You can use MS Excel, or free versions like openOffice or even Google Sheets.<br /><br />Put your many rows in column A. At the first cell in column B, type = BASE(A1, 9). Then grab the bottom right corner of B1 and drag it down to match the row length in column A.<br /><br />Then you will be left with every decimal number in column A converted to it&#x27;s nonary equivalent in column B.
