did you actually drive an armored car or did you work in an office role? i always thought they should drive the money around in innocuous looking vehicles like honda civics. nobody looks twice at a honda civic, but an armored car is like look at me

Sounds like armored car work. I used to do that years ago over 20 years ago. They won't let me back in the company, but I have better plans and the job is not that bad. It's that they're stupid rules and regulations that's what the problem is. People need to respect that industry, but the union failed us

There used to be convenience store by me that I would buy and cash my tickets at. If they didn't have a large amount in the register, sometimes they would tell me to come back in 15 minutes. That was when the time lock would let them open the safe in the office. I would wait in my car and go back in.

Well, the fuel station has a little (real little) convenience store to buy snacks, etc. Usually only employee in there so, management only wants $50 in the till for security. The clerk can take money from the safe when needed to replenish the till. Can't speak for others, but I never, ever took money from the safe when a customer was in the store. And I never, ever let on there is a safe in there. It takes a code and it dispenses the cash. If I recall the amount of cash dispensed could be no mor... [ More ]

I'm guessing every area is different around the country but here in Philly at least a couple Wawa. They were not. I know they were not Kash. I don't know why maybe it's unheard of

At the store I work at the fuel station will only up to $50 because they don't want to keep more than that in the till.

But in the grocery store they will cash up to $500, I think. Several years ago I cashed in a $400 win.

if a one store can't or won't pay out the prize, just go to a different one. the ones that do a lot of lottery sales should keep more cash on hand for that, like a big chain grocery store. small gas station is kind of iffy.

Do you go to gas station? market, retail store, beer/ liquor store?

I have heard some wawas won't cash in and people get pissed off.

Then again many members all over the country and all over the world.
