Formula of the 55 Pick-3 Structures

For a 3-digit number:

ABC

Define the structural differences:

d1 = |A B|

d2 = |B C|

The structure of the number is:

S = (d1 , d2)

Range of the Differences

Because digits go from 0 to 9:

0 d1 9

0 d2 9

But not all combinations occur equally in the triangular map used in the 55-structure model.

The model organizes valid pairs into a triangular arrangement where:
