Todd: Most lotteries with Pick 3/4 double drawings have midday draws 6 days/week. Nearby CT has no midday drawings Saturday. The new lottery terminals in NY, installed this past spring and summer (to my knowledge the statewide conversion was complete before 9/11) have a DAY/NIGHT button that is useless for now. Don't know if Powerball has priority over introducing midday 3/4 drawings.

New Jersey Adding Midday Drawings!

Staring next week, NJ lottery players will have midday drawings for Pick 3 Pick 4 (in addition to the regular evening drawings). The new drawings will be held at about 1:00 PM every day. I imagine the ticket cutoff time for the midday drawings will be 12:45 PM.I'll post a news article tomorrow morning on BigGameLottery.com.-Todd
