Don't know why I feel compelled to help out his rock character. But here it goes... If 90% of the mney raised by the lottery commission is in the form of small purchases, then 90% of the winners will be those who made small purchases. Likewise, if most people buying tickets are not rich, then most people winning will not be rich prior to winning. I just can't wait till tomorrow, when there is no winner or a winner other than you. Everyone is going to make fun of you. I am not going to win, or am I? The Rock says: um dude that the amount that you play has no relevence to whether you win or not. If it is ment for you to win you will win with $1 or $100,000. The Rock has found that the overwhelming majority of lottery winners have played small amounts and have won because it was there time to win. Uhm, dude, the amount of money you spend *does* influence your chances of winning.A $1 ticket has a 1:76million chance of winning. Each ticket with distinctly different numbers has such a chance. Thus if I buy $10 worth I've got more chances of winning as a whole, but of course each ticket still is 1:76million.

The Rock says that those are the exception, the rare cases. Hey you look and do the research and The Rock says that you will see that most of lottery winners are individuals who just went in the mom and pop stores and just threw down a few dollars for a few tickets and cam up big winners. The odds are against you good sir. The winner shall come from a state, a state which is unusual, and shallow. People will riducule you if you fail to win, so I recommend that you back off and stop proclaiming yourself the winner

What about the people who win in lottery pools like at work or between friends? They pool all the money, maybe like $100, and then they win. Yes, all it takes is $1. But, the more tickets you buy, the better chance you have of covering all the possibilities.
