Put both of them thru this workout. I am in Michigan and I am finding that the evening pick is often in the midday pick...it doesn't ever seem to be straight but the numbers often touch each other. It is different for each state..that is why you have to research it. If you have excel, I have it programmed so you can put the day and evening numbers in separately in two columns and it automatically adds the +3, +2 +1. If you would like my excel file, email me and I will attach it.

Here in Jersey we have Pick-3 and Pick-4 Midday and Night.
